What We Do

RACEKIDS DAY CAMP

Day Camp will be located inside one of the Host Hotels close to the start line.  In order to ensure you get to your race on time, RaceKids Day Camp will open at least 90 minutes prior to race start.

Children of parents running a half marathon or shorter will be enrolled in our six hour structured day camp.  This allows you ample time to get to the start, run your race, and enjoy the finish line festivities before heading back in time for pickup at the end of camp.  Your child(ren) will be fed breakfast as well as lunch, and will be entertained with games, activities, and special guest speakers for the duration of their camp.

Children of parents running a full marathon will be enrolled in an eight hour structured day camp.  Again, this is to allow for ample time to start, run, and enjoy the finish of your amazing accomplishment.  Your child(ren) will be fed breakfast as well as lunch, and will be entertained with games, activities, and special guest speakers for the duration of their camp.

Below is the typical full race day schedule.  The Special Guest Speaker will be someone from the local host city – eg. team mascot or local tourist attraction spokesperson.  They’ll be invited to come in and speak to us and show us what makes the host city such a fun place for kids!

The Above Agenda Gives You a Sense of How Our Race Day Camp is StructuredActual race day schedule of events and activities will depend on the length of race offered, the start times, and course time limits.

Each activity will be further broken down into age subgroups – so that each child can enjoy age-appropriate fun.  We are committed to providing a fun and safe atmosphere that your kids will want to attend over and over!

All food served in our camp will be peanut and tree nut free.  We will cater to all allergies to ensure each child has a safe and enjoyable experience.
